OFFSET / UV INKS
Offset Ink Low Smell Low Migration
« back
Inks of high quality and high intensity, drying by ultraviolet radiation, for dry and waterless offset printing. Suitable for a wide variety of synthetic materials, including Corona in-line treated polypropylene, paper, carton and various plastic containers.

Characteristics

  • Formulated especially with photoinitiators and monomers of low migration and low odor.
  • Approved for plastic polypropylene and polystyrene containers for food.

Cured

This line of inks is formulated for speeds of cure between 20 and 60 m/min. The lamps suitable for drying the inks of this series are those of medium pressure mercury vapor with a power between 120-200 W/cm. The speed of printing depends not only on the dryer, but also on the color, the ink layer and the ink coverage. Generally dark colours, black, opaque white and metallic inks dry out more slowly than yellow, red or varnishes.

Storage

Store in a place protected from light and in black polyethylene containers, because exposure to light causes the polymerization of the ink. The containers should be closed very well, and immediately after using the inks. To maximize shelf life, the storage temperature should be 10 ° C to 25 ° C. The stability of the ink is one year, fulfilling the mentioned requirements.

Safety

Contact with skin may cause irritation, in this case wash with plenty of water and soap. Wear gloves and eye protection. Change contaminated clothing and consult a doctor.

Observations

We always recommend always to carry out preliminary tests to determine the suitability of the inputs and processes. Our technical department is available to respond to the respective concerns.

Important note

I. The inks formulated by Pintesint SAICyF must be used exclusively with the solvents and the complementary products that it manufactures for that purpose. Due to the diversity of products in the market, the company is not responsible for the use of the same from another source.
II. The suggestions and data of this literature were elaborated in good faith, to guide the user. We recall the importance of checking the adaptability of inks and complementary products by testing before starting production. Due to the fact that the conditions of use of the products are not under our control, the present does not constitute a guarantee on the work to be done.
